Through my courses and coaching programs available through this site, my team and I provide you with tools and discussion forums to support your healing from the adult symptoms of Childhood PTSD. Since I am not a therapist or clinician, this content cannot take the place of the care of a licensed mental health or clinical professional. I will sometimes offer participants suggestions based upon personal experience and my own research, but I am not qualified to provide diagnosis or treatment advice. If you disagree with any of my lessons or suggestions, you are encouraged to just take what you like and leave the rest.

It should be clear that I cannot guarantee any particular results for any individual in my programs; your results will depend on many factors, among them, the symptoms and difficulties you now have, the effort you put into healing, and your openness to change. I sincerely hope my teaching, encouragement and tools will assist you in your own work in these areas, but in the end, you are in charge of your healing!

As you can imagine, I cannot help each person with active personal problems in the way that a therapist can. A therapist or clinical professional is better trained to help in this way; many therapists are also obliged to persevere with their clients even when the client is resistant, mentally ill or even abusive. Please know that I am not able or willing to work with coaching or group call or online group participants under these circumstances. To work with you, I require that you are emotionally stable, able to handle interactions with me and other participants courteously, and able to refrain from interacting in a manner that is divisive or abusive. It is impossible to be perfectly specific about this, but it helps to remember the golden rule – treat others as you would like to be treated.

Respect Policy: I require that all participants who interact with me or other participants:

refrain from political discussions

avoid pushing any particular therapy, religion, book or philosophy on other members (though it is OK to mention your faith, or mention you have a particular book, therapy, or philosophy you’ve found helpful);

refrain from insulting, criticizing, interrupting or giving unsolicited advice to other participants

refrain from gossip behind others’ backs or outside the group. Our conversations here are private and we must trust one another not to discuss what is said in the group, outside of the group.

Abuse policy:

In my work with traumatized people, I sometimes encounter individuals who become intense, harsh or even abusive, so I make this policy clear to everyone with whom I begin work:

o Abuse is defined as name-calling, making threats (physical, social or professional); intentionally disclosing private information or attempting to harm the reputation of others in the group; harassment (calls or e-mails to someone who has explicitly said not to contact them); or discussing matters that are (at my discretion) deemed to be too private, too vulgar, too hostile or too divisive for the group.  o For the sake of the group members as well as myself, I reserve the right to remove individuals from calls, courses or from group programs at my own discretion. I will make reasonable efforts to resolve any interpersonal issues privately with individuals, or between individuals, but please know that the emotional safety of the group is paramount, and abusive behavior will always result in removal and termination of any access to content or contact with me.

Refund policy:

For courses, there is a 72 hour window after purchase when refunds are granted upon request. For coaching, once the first live session has begun, there will be no refunds. If a member needs to leave a course or program for reasons beyond their control, or is removed from the group for reasons other than abuse, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

If you are in a crisis, call your local emergency number or suicide hotline. You are loved and we want you safe!
